1984 Gibson Explorer Union Jack

In the mid 1980s, Gibson launched the “Designer” series of special graphic designs on some guitars and this Explorer was a big hit of the series. Sporting the Union Jack, this Explorer with British flair was built in 1984 and unlike many others produced, this has a standard stop tailpiece. The “Dirty Fingers” pickups are crunchy and powerful with great tone, clean and dirty. Hot and strong!

This Union Jack Explorer is perfectly aged, all original and is a true rocker. A few scuffs but otherwise in overall excellent condition. Comfortable neck, full of fret life and just so fun to play.

I have to admit, I couldn’t help but playing Judas Priest, Scorpions, Def Leopard taking me back to 1984, the year I graduated high school. 💥🎸 So if you want to stand out and play one that has that legendary ‘70s-‘80s rock tone, Roll Britannia! Includes OHSC.
