• Early Flowerpot, Block Inlay Example
• 1929 Serial Number, 1933 Shipping Date
• Top Revoiced by Don MacCrostie
A fine sounding Flowerpot F-5, with block inlays starting at the 3rd fret, the straight "Gibson" peghead logo, and a "Made in USA" label under the treble ?-hole. The serial # is from 1929 and records indicate a 1933 shipment date, according to Spann's Guide to Gibson, while the flower pot peghead inlay is from the late Thirties. It has been regraduated by Don McCrostie, builder of Red Diamond Mandolins. It's in fine condition, the only issues being a spot of pickguard disintigration and the standard Gibson finish cracking on the top.

Tone is exemplary: Very loud, solid, full chop with loud, clear and sweet trebles.

Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
