1961 Gibson GA-200 Rhythm King Recover, Very Good
Rare and incredibly cool 1961 Gibson GA-200 Rhythm King 2×12 amplifier. 60 watts, 6L6 based, and like the desirable Fender tweed Bassman was intended for bass guitar. This example has some really cool local history and was owned by the Fort Lewis Army Base here in Tacoma, WA for most of its life. It was used in the army band throughout the 1960s and as shown was re-covered in the 1960s to match the other army band amplifiers in a unique but fitting design. Aside from the cool re-cover the amplifier is very original. Speakers are old and look right, but have no codes are label on them. Sounds great! BLOWOUT PRICE, ALL SALES FINAL.
