2002 Gibson Grenada Mastertone Natural

2002 Gibson Granada Mastertone Banjo in mint condition. Initially introduced in 1925 and discontinued in 1937, the Granada Mastertone was one of Gibsons highest end banjos in the pre-war period. Only about 20 original 5-string Granada Mastertones were produced. This faithful reproduction features a 3 ply maple rim, a 20 hole brass flat head tone ring, gold plated coordinator rods, a beautiful flame maple resonator and neck, rosewood fingerboard, and pearl and engraved gold plated hardware throughout. Equipped on the 2nd and 3rd strings with Bill Keith D-Tuner pegs for Scruggs style effects. Neck is 1.24" wide at the nut, 1.71" wide at the 7th fret, profile is 0.81" at the 1st fret, 0.91" at the 12th fret. Weight is 11.58lbs. Comes with original hardshell case.
