This '79 Gibson J-200 Artist is virtually untouched and in new-old-stock condition with only minor scuffing and a small top scratch! Plays great with smooth action for a great feel and sounds great with a focused and rich sound. This example stands out aesthetically with lovely cosmetic appointments and, of course, the oversized floral pickguard! This J-200 is just too cool, and it sounds fantastic! Includes original hardshell case.
This instrument came from our recently acquired "Kalamazoo Collection." We acquired the collection from a married couple that worked at the original factory from the late 50s until the factory closed in June of 1984. These pieces are uncirculated and mostly untouched in mint or near-mint condition ~ The collection also includes 1000s of pieces of memorabilia, new-old-stock parts, and more ~ reach out with any/all inquiries!

We make a point of forwarding all tracking information to our customers so they can stay informed on its progress pending arrival. We ship via UPS, Fedex and UPS. All shipments are fully insured through our private insurance carrier.
We offer a 72 hr approval on all guitar & amps (unless otherwise noted). Customer pays all shipping & insurance costs both ways unless otherwise negotiated by sales staff. Before returning any item, customers must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
