1965 Gibson J-45 Cherry Sunburst 1.71 nut width very clean with hang tag!

I maybe have had one cleaner on in the 40 years I have had a shop, but maybe not. I have had hundreds, I love slope shouldered Gibson acoustics and can't say no. This one plays great, and has a big voice. We have done nothing to it other than restring with Custom Lights, and I see no evidence of repairs or damage. There is virtually no fret wear. The nut measured 1.71 inches, and is a very comfortable neck to play. Some light checking here and there, and 2 little dings on the back that look like someone put something in them, but pinhole size. The whole guitar is gorgeous, but the sides have some amazing grain in them. The original hangtag is still intact, and the original chipboard case is solid and very clean.

I hate shipping this in a chipboard case. We use new oversized boxes so can use extra paper in packing, and will use a second box inside. The size of the box makes shipping expensive, less so for east coast, so will adjust it if it's off much. If you would like to purchase a hard case and have us ship in that, OK. I do want the chipboard case to stay with the J-45, as it has protected it for 60 years, and can ship it separately for a lot less. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. we don't pad shipping, but insurance has gotten expensive, as have shipping rates.
