2015 Gibson J-45 Progressive Sunburst

The folks out at Gibson Montana these days do a wonderful job, build some of the nicest and well-made Gibson acoustics ever. In beautiful, near-mint condition and with the added luxury of an ebony fingerboard and classic double-parallelogram mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays, this is a deal that’s hard to pass up. The neck has that lovely old-timey feel, a wee bit wider than most (1-3/4” at the nut) and a little bit shallower around the back, just super-comfy, and it’s been all set up right here in our own shop, a joy to play. The original automated, battery-operated tuning machines, which never worked out quite right for anyone, have thankfully been replaced with a set of the traditional Gibson Deluxe tuners, making this a beautiful fresh, wonderful modern example of a Gibson classic.
