2013 Gibson Joe Walsh Signed '60 Les Paul Murphy Aged #25/50

In 2013, Gibson Custom released a limited run of 250 guitars based on Joe Walsh's 1960 LP Standard, produced in three tiers – 125 given Gibson’s proprietary VOS treatment, 75 with aging by Tom Murphy, and only 50 guitars with both Murphy aging and Joe Walsh's signature. This guitar is of the latter tier, boasting the meticulous relic work of Tom Murphy as well as a hand-written signature from Joe Walsh himself on the back of the headstock. It features a one-piece mahogany body, the thinner 60's profile mahogany neck, and a meticulously selected flame maple top with the bright Tangerine Burst finish characteristic of the early 60's LPs. For the pickups, Gibson created an exacting replica of Joe's 1960 PAFs in their Custom Buckers, including precisely wound Alnico III magnets.
