This incredibly clean first-year '61 Johnny Smith signature from our recent Kalamazoo haul is probably the cleanest example on the planet and it also happens to be one of the first few ever made! Comes fitted with electronics that date to '74; We have a few of these oddball examples with mix-matched electronics, however, this gorgeous archtop is in 100% original factory condition and plays/sounds incredible! Includes period correct hardshell case.
This instrument came from our recently acquired "Kalamazoo Collection." We acquired the collection from a married couple that worked at the original factory from the late 50s until the factory closed in June of 1984. These pieces are uncirculated and mostly untouched in mint or near-mint condition ~ The collection also includes 1000s of pieces of memorabilia, new-old-stock parts, and more ~ reach out with any/all inquiries!

All shipments are fully insured through our private insurance carrier.
We offer a 72 hr approval on all guitar & amps (unless otherwise noted). Customer pays all shipping & insurance costs both ways unless otherwise negotiated by sales staff. Before returning any item, customers must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
