One of the best sounding L-00 model Gibson flat tops we've had in the shop! This late 30's example is loud and balanced with the perfect amount of projection and clarity for blues and fingerstyle playing. It's small, mahogany body, spruce top, and rosewood fingerboard are the ideal pairing for the classic Gibson acoustic tone, while the 14-fret sized body make this a very comfortable guitar to play. It features a script Gibson logo, "firestripe" pickguard, and sunburst finish. Released during the depression as a no-frills model, the L-00 soon became and remains a favorite of blues players. This 1938 L-00 has had a professional neck reset as well as few repaired top cracks but is ready for another 85 years of service.
