1937 Gibson L-50 Sunburst, Excellent, Hard, $2,995.00

Stunning! Not only in gorgeous, 100% original condition, and virtually as shiny and clean and beautiful as the day it left the Gibson factory, but the tone!. The action! Quite honestly, I’ve never come across another pre-war Gibson archtop that’s quite this knockout. With its very traditional 16”-wide body, carved solid spruce top, solid maple back and sides with traditional flat back and four full back braces, this is a complete winner. Quite the comfy-feeling neck too; 1-3/4” wide at the nut with a very vintage V-shape and a perfect, perfectly crisp action. All original parts: bone nut, ebony bridge, Grover tuners and tailpiece, pickguard; the whole nine yards.
