Limited Edition 1985 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul in beautiful Tobacco Sunburst with Factory Roland LPK-1 Divided Pickup electronics for use with Roland GR-300 / 700 Guitar Synthesizers! Plays great as a regular guitar with a pair of EMG HB's replacing the original Tim Shaw Humbucker pickups. This has the Roland 24-Pin Synth output jack as well as the standard 1/4" Guitar jack for standard play. Connect to a vintage Roland Synth and create some wild sounds with this Paul. All electronics function properly and tested good with a Roland GR-300. In very good condition, this Les Paul is a super rare early Custom Shop piece. So you thought that you had to use only Roland guitars with the Synthesizers, but Gibson did produce LP, Explorer and V models with the Roland electronics in very small numbers around 1985, in the Custom Shop. This guitar has only been played a few times around the house, in very good condition. There is ding in the back of the guitar and some scuffs and scratches. There looks to be some neck damage around the neck joint, it is super solid and does not impact play! Does not include the Roland 24 Pin Cable or GR300 / GR700 Synthesizer modules! Comes with a brown Gibson USA Pink Interior Les Paul case.
