Description

Up for sale is a 1991 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus in its original Trans Amber finish over an absolutely stunning flamed maple top. We’ve had a good amount of these early LP Classics in and this one hands down has the nicest top we’ve seen. Interestingly the headstock logo simply says Les Paul without Classic or model. Typically the earliest Classics say model under the LP signature. With that said there are no signs of modification whatsoever and the consensus is Gibson simply forgot to add “Model” to this example. Slim 60s style neck profile, 50s style Gibson headstock, and non chambered under 9 pounds. This guitar is decked out in full Slash Appetite For Destruction gear with a set of zebra humbuckers (Fastback pickups in the neck and Fralin PAF in the bridge), reflector knobs, and no pickguard. Given the AFD Slash LPs are no longer produced and tough to come by this is a really cool alternative at half the cost. Pro setup in house and comes complete with its original hardshell case.

Comments: Super cool early 90s LP Classic Plus.
