1957 Gibson Les Paul Conversion Goldtop

1953/1957 Conversion Les Paul GT: Want the great 57’ GT tone without the expense of $150k?? Here it is…this one sounds great which is why it was played and has honest, natural play wear in the original Gibson finish front and back along with some expected checking. Not as much checking as you may expect, we've seen worse. This is a Terry Mueller conversion which started life as a 53 Goldtop with no breaks, cracks or repairs. It still has its original finish front and back.

Conversion work was: Neck reset to correct angle, guitar weighs about 8.5 pounds, the finish and all wood is original, Brazilian fretboard, mahogony body, & neck, headstock, veneer, inlays etc.

Original Parts Include: Nut, truss rod cover, tuners, recut original pickguard, bracket, 53’ switch & harness, POTS, wiring, switch tip, back plates, screws, jack & jack plate, knobs, PAF’s and a 50’s bridge included.

Non-Original parts: Stop bar, studs, strap button, PUP rings, pick guard is a Mueller special (?), also historic bridge in case, thumb wheels, and switch ring (60’s).

This instrument is a monster guitar and at a fraction of the cost of an actual PAF goldtop!! Guitars comes with its HIGH quality brown leather alligator case or a 70’s protector chainsaw case…your choice.
