Really nice 1956 Les Paul Custom. I'm surprised by the price range of these early Customs. You see them for $40K, you see them for $30K and you see them correctly priced in the mid to upper $20K range. A stock early (P90 and Alnico pickup) Custom is kind of a tricky guitar due to the teeny frets and often heavy weight. They sound great but playability can be the issue. This one is re-fretted with medium wire and weighs in at around 9 and a half pounds. Not a lightweight but pretty average for a Custom of the period. This guitar is all original with the exception of the tuner tips and the frets. It is a factory stop tail that once had a Bigsby but the holes were very well filled. You know you always kind of wanted one. This one won't break the bank and will be a functional player as well as a cool collectible. Original black case.
