After a resurgence in popularity spurred on by rock legends of the era, Gibson reintroduced the Les Paul model in 1968 in both the standard and Custom varieties. These early 'reissue' guitars have become highly sought after, as they are built much closer to the original 50's specs than later 70's Les Pauls. This incredible feeling 1969 example is one of the last of these earlier-spec Les Paul Customs. It features a single piece mahogany body with a maple cap, ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece, and a pair of "patent sticker" humbucking pickups. The neck is a perfect late 50's shape that make this guitar feel as close to the original 50's customs as it gets. This guitar was professionally refinished making it the perfect choice for any player looking for a late 60's Les Paul!
