Asbury Park Vintage Guitars proudly presents an incredible 1970 Gibson Les Paul Custom in NEAR MINT condition with Original rectangular orange lined Case, Hang Tag/ Owner's manual and rare case key. There are 2 small spots which prevent this guitar from being labeled as MINT condition (see pics). Everything is 100% original with no repairs, alterations or modifications. The gold hardware is striking. The binding is crack free. The finish is stunning and without any dings or scratches. Has the small volute and made in USA stamp. This amazing vintage guitar weighs 9lbs 10oz. The neck measures 1 11/16" at the nut, .81" deep at the first fret, and .91" deep at the 12th fret. The potentiometer codes read 1377040 which indicate CTS, 1970, 40th week. Purchased in 1970 from Sam Ash in New York City, this guitar was hardly played by its original owner and extremely well cared for over the decades. Buyer pays shipping.
