This 1979 Les Paul Custom has some changes, but it is a killer!

We were able to get this guitar set up with just about the lowest action you'll ever play.  The neck is perfect and the frets show more life than most "fretless wonders" from the period.  The truss rod was checked and has room for future neck relief adjustments.

The tuners are original and there are no changes hidden behind them.  The bridges are also original, as are the pots and the control cavity shield that screws down over them.  The pickguard, output jack, three-way pickup switch and jack plate are original.

The bridge pickup is a Mighty Mite MFG, which sells for about $200 these days - a pickup not everyone knows about but sounds really good.  The neck pickup is the original Gibson part with an impressed patent number.  The knobs and strap buttons are changed.  A coil tap switch was added when the bridge pickup was introduced.

The original case has taken a bunch of wear, but the guitar is in great cosmetic shape.  There is some honest playwear here and there, but overall it is quite clean.
