Description

In iconic factory black with gold hardware, a bit of honest wear but overall clean, no breaks, all-original save for repro switch and control cavity covers (we ditched the brass ones reducing the weight by more than half a pound, and not even particularly heavy for a Norlin Custom. Honduran mahogany body, maple top, bound ebony fingerboard with pearl blocks, no volute, sandwich body was long-gone by this period. Great tone from the “patent stamp” humbuckers, and a couple of famous features for the era, the diamond strap buttons and (surprisingly useful) Schaller flip-out crank tuners. Made in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, has some original papers, and comes in a Gen 3 Protector (“chainsaw”) case with brown plush interior.
