Description

Summary:  This Gibson Les
Paul Custom is from 1989 and it sounds great & plays very easily.

Body:
Solid body electric guitar – fully bound
mahogany body with a maple cap.

Neck:
Fully bound mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard & pearloid block
inlays. This instrument has a scale
length of 24.75” and a nut width of 1 11/16”.
The frets do show some visible wear but they have plenty of life left in
them.

Pickups/Hardware:
2 original Gibson pickups (HB-R in the
neck / HB-L in the bridge) designed by Bill Lawrence. Gold Grover tuning machines, gold hardware, 2
volume knobs & 2 tone knobs with a 3-way switch.

Cosmetics:  This
Gibson does show wear & tear consistent with a well-played & loved
guitar from the late 1980’s. There is plenty
of swirls & pick scratches on this instrument – there is also a fair amount
of buckle rash & dings on the body of this guitar. Some of this wear doesn’t show up very well
in the photos but once you hold the guitar in your hands you will notice the
various scratches & marks on the body of this guitar. There are a few small chips on the top of the
headstock on this guitar but there are no cracks, breaks or splits and all wear
is purely cosmetic.

Playability:  This Les Paul plays great – the action is low
and the instrument plays without any buzzing or dead spots. The frets on this guitar do show some wear
but they have plenty of life left in them.

Weight:  11 lbs,
  1
oz.

Case:  Non-original hardshell SKB les paul case.
