After years of relative obscurity, the Pes Paul Pro Deluxe has been found out. Players realized that these guitars are like a cross between a Les Paul Deluxe, a 50s Les Paul Standard and a Les Paul Custom.

The guitar has the feel of a 70s Les Paul Deluxe. In its original form, it is loaded with P-90s like a 50s Les Paul Standard. And lastly, it has an ebony fretboard like a Les Paul Custom.

This example has seen some work. The pickup cavities were pretty cleanly routed to accept humbuckers. The bridge pickup is a Duncan Jeff Beck. The neck pickup is a double-white bobbin, square tab vintage DiMarzio. It is a great combo!

The bridge has been swapped out for a period Gibson TP6. The tuners are original Schallers. The knobs and output jack plate are changed as well. The pots are original to the guitar with date codes from 1977.

The original frets have plenty of life left and the neck angle is good. The truss rod has room for future adjustment, if needed. The guitar shows wear. It was played regularly by one of customers who has been gigging in the area for over 30 years, but he has a stack of guitars so the wear did get spread out across the herd. It is marked as a Second, but as is always the case you can't tell why they originally marked it as such.

A gator hardshell case is included.
