1973 Gibson Les Paul Signature Bass Gold

Now perhaps most recognized as the inspiration for the bass used by Jack Cassidy, the Les Paul Signature bass debuted in 1973 and was designed with input by the man himself, Les Paul. This first-year example features a double-cut semi-hollow body design with a beautiful "Goldtop" Finish, single, Gibson logo embossed pickup, and fantastic playing neck, and a three position tone knob to select the output of the pickup. We haven't seen many of these lately and they have a very distinct tone that lends well to a wide variety of musical styles. This instrument includes the original Gibson hardshell case.
