1991 Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow

This 1991 Gibson Les Paul Special in TV Yellow. First built as Gibson’s mid-level Les Paul in 1955, TV Yellow finish was introduced to appear in better detail on early 1950s black and white television.

Equipped with Mahogany body and neck with rosewood fretboard, it features two original P-90 pickups. Unlike the Les Paul, Junior with one P-90, the Special allows that blend between neck and bridge pickups, more akin to a Les Paul Standard and Custom.

Personally, I leave mine tuned in open G tuning for those times when I need to release my inner Rolling Stones riffs.

This LPS is all original, no mods or repairs and in excellent condition. It interestingly has a “Promo Not for Sale” factory impression stamp below the serial on the rear headstock. Every player’s collection deserves a TV Yellow Les Paul Special. Includes original brown and pink case.
