2001 Gibson Les Paul Special Natural

Summary: This Les Paul Special is in fine used condition and has just been setup and restrung by our in house luthier. The mahogany body and neck feel and look beautiful with its natural finish and the P-90 pickups deliver a wide range tone that truly accentuates the full acoustic sound of the mahogany. This one ships in a nice gator gig bag and we will ship it professionally packed and fully insured.

Body: Natural finish on a solid mahogany body with belly contour and 3 ply black pickguard.

Neck: The mahogany neck has a nice in-between 50s and 60s profile with a rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dots, 22 frets, 24.75” scale length and 1.65” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 P-90 pickups with 2 volumes, 2 tones, 3 way toggle, tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece, nickel plated hardware, black knobs, Gibson Deluxe tuning keys with green keystone pegs and strap lock style strap buttons.

Cosmetics: There is some fine finish checking on the face of the headstock and some light pick scratching on the body and pickguard. Ther is 1 slightly deeper scratch on the pickguard and some scratches on the neck pickup cover and a fair amount of buckle rash but nothing severe. There are no breaks, cracks, or structural issues to speak of and it is in overall great used condition.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with only the slightest sign of playwear on the 1st two frets.
