1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top

This is a great playing, early Les Paul! This 1953 "Gold top" example has been upgraded to the "Mojo Tone" tail piece, which increases the break angle of strings, hugely improving the playability. The guitar also features the original, screaming P90 "Soapbar" pickups, early "No-line" Kluson tuners, mahogany body with a beautifully carved maple top, dark rosewood fingerboard, and a perfect, medium-sized 50's profile neck. A great playing guitar and an early example the Les Paul Standard.
