I've owned this burst several times over the years and I'm pretty stoked to get it back again...it's a real beauty! It's got really nice flame with total coverage and decent depth so it lights up from either side. The color has faded to a nice shade of 'lemon-drop', and it's in 9+ condition overall. The original PAF pickups read 9.0k ohms at the bridge (double white), and 8.1k ohms at the neck (double black). Pot codes are 134839 (Centralab, 39th week of '58), and the weight of the guitar comes in just shy of 9.5 pounds. The Bigsby tremolo was factory-installed and the face was never drilled for a stop tailpiece. This basically means the Bigsby wasn't added as an afterthought like you usually see, it's how the guitar was ordered and built. It's got the typical chunky '59 neck profile and the original large frets have plenty of life left in them, so this thing plays great. BTW...this also sounds as good as it looks! So if you've been waiting for the right burst to come along at a reasonable price, this one's for you.
