1956 Gibson Les Paul TV Special "TV Yellow"

A fantastic TV Special perfect for any player! 1956 Gibson electrics have some of our favorite neck profiles; large and with a soft "V" shape, combined with the solid mahogany body and pair of "Soap Bar" P90's, this guitar is a tone machine! This guitar was owned by a professional player in Nashville and used extensively on the road with a wide array of country and rock acts, and the original "TV Yellow" finish has the kind of character than can only come from years of live use! At one point this guitar had a different jack plate, leaving a few small filled holes, and the headstock has the typical slight "wing" separation, but with no breaks or repairs this guitar is ready for many more years of service! TV Yellow guitars have continue to be sought after and are becoming much harder to find, and this 1956 Special is about as good as it gets!
