1943 Gibson LG-2 in excellent condition with a very minimal amount of wear. Mahogany top, back sides, and neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The original nitrocellulose lacquer finish is intact with with handsome checking and no sign of tampering. This guitar has slightly fancier binding than you'd generally expect it to have, possibly reflecting the somewhat quirky nature of banner era guitars. No adjustable truss rod but there is a maple reinforcement under the fingerboard, another interesting and quirky detail of the period. All original with the exception of replaced tuning machines and a beautifully done neck reset. Nut width is 1 3/4, profile is 1 1/64" at the 1st fret,1 7/64" at the 10th fret. Weight is 3.68lbs. Comes with non original hardshell case.
