1955 Gibson LG-2 Sunburst

1955 Gibson LG-2.
Last year for small guard.
Owned by the same family since new.
No breaks, cracks repairs, though the tuners are retrofit repros (with original bushings & screws) and the bridge pins and end pin are not original.
Some wear in the fretboard in cowboy chord area, frets are still excellent.
Action is good but gets a bit higher up the neck (bluegrass action) but…….lots of room to lower on the saddle, if so desired.
Shows some nicks , dings, minor light checking.
But overall very nice for 68 years old.
Nice woody/ even sound that these small body Gibsons are known for.

Nut width is 1.69

.90 at the 1st fret

1.05 at the 12th.

Comes with a 60’s chipboard case that the next owner will need to replace !!!
