The iconic war-years model, a classical guitar sized version of the J-45, X-braced, sunburst finish, large neck shape that is standard for these years. The "Only Gibson Is Good Enough" banner logo on the peghead was only seen from 1942 to 1945, and these are prized as some of Gibson's best sounding guitars. They are also famous for needed regluing and repairing of their braces, which leads us to exclaim that only Gibson's aren't glued enough. We've just reglued and repaired some of those braces, reset the neck and replaced the bridge and bridge plate. It's been out of circulation for quite a while and it's exciting to bring a great instrument like this and bring it back to life and put it into the hands of a new owner who will give it the attention it deserves.
Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
