2005 Gibson LP SG Standard Authentic Custom Art & Historic '62 (1962 reissue) Cherry

This 2005 Gibson Les Paul SG Standard is a shop favorite. It is another recent guitar show acquisition that came in during a really busy part of the show. I knew it was a good one, but the other day we finally got to plug it in at the shop and dig in to find that it is a real monster of a guitar.
Lately there have been several 2005 Custom Art & Historic guitars through the shop. One was a Les Paul Special that didn't make it to the website, the other was an R9 that sold after just a few days on the site, and this SG. They all are crazy good guitars. Coincidence? Parhaps.
This SG looks, plays, and sounds like a killer vintage guitar - the color and the patina on the nickel hardware. It shows light wear, but far less than most 20 year old guitars. Frets also show only light wear.
It is a fantastically resonant piece, something that I usually associate with lighter SGs, though this one isn't overly weighty at 7 pounds 13 ounces.
There are no repairs or issues with this one, and the truss rod has room for future adjustment.
Included is the original case, the certificate of authenticity and some of the other original paperwork. Its a great package!

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.
