2007 Gibson LPR-9 Cherry Sunburst

Summary: This beautiful Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul is a 1959 VOS with a stunning flamed maple top & a gorgeous cherry sunburst finish. This instrument comes with the original Gibson Custom Shop hard shell case & the Certificate of Authenticity.

Body: Solid body, single cutaway Les Paul guitar with a mahogany body & a flamed maple cap. The top on this Gibson is fully bound and it is also highly figured with flame & lots of wonderful characteristics.

Neck: Fully bound mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, aged pearloid block inlays, 59’ style neck, vintage style Gibson Deluxe tuning keys with tulip buttons. This instrument has a nut width of 1 11/16” and a scale length of 25.5”. The frets on this guitar show very little wear & have a ton of life left in them.

Pickups/Hardware: Two Gibson Burstbucker humbucker pickups, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch, cream plastics, chrome hardware, Gibson Deluxe tuning keys, stop tailpiece & tune-o-matic bridge.

Cosmetics: This Gibson is in really great shape – there are a few signs of wear such as pick scratches on the pickguard, a few dings on the body, buckle rash on the back of the instrument & some scratches on the back plates, however, the beautiful finish makes it hard to notice any wear unless you are holding it in your hands and looking for imperfections.

Playability: This Gibson plays great – the action is low & the instrument plays easily up & down the fingerboard. We recently set this guitar up with 10’s and it is ready to be played and loved for years to come.
