You are admiring an awesome set of 1959 Gibson Double White PAF’s. They are in nice shape and sound great; I pulled them out of a 50’s conversion Les Paul I’m parting out that’s completely loaded up with original ‘59 parts and case. I will be listing most of those parts in the near future, please inquire as to what I plan on selling and when. The readings on these pickups are 8.6k ohms at the bridge, with 7” of lead wire, and 8.3k ohms at the neck, with 12” of lead wire...this is a hot, well-balanced set. The original tape looks undisturbed and black lights perfectly, the baseplates show minor pitting with proper ‘L’ marks on the feet, and the original decals are mostly intact, showing various degrees of chipping, but still legible. They have the normal pole piece spacing, not narrow spaced, and all the proper tool markings are there even though they’re not obvious in the photos...these PAF’s are right as rain. Double White PAF’s are the Holy Grail of vintage electric guitar pickups; they were only made less than one year, between ‘59-‘60, and EVERYONE wants them!
