We sold this guitar to a private collection many years ago and are thrilled to offer it for sale once more. 1964 is perhaps the ultimate year for the Gibson SG, with all the features of the the guitars used by Eric Clapton and George Harrison. The neck shape of the '63-64 spec SG is preferred by many players as it is closer to the Les Paul neck shapes of the late 50's. With a nickel "Lyre" vibrola tailpiece and two phenomenal, "Patent Sticker" humbucking pickups, this guitar isn't just a stunning instrument to look at but has all of the great tone to back it up.
