Gibson 1986 SG ’62 Reissue Bigsby Modified
This is a 1986 "SG 62 Reissue" model, the first year of the Reissue range.
The original stop tailpiece has been replaced with a Bigsby and the original stud holes have been remained.
This model is a reproduction of the '62 SG, with the tenon cover between the fingerboard end and neck pickup and beveled contour edges restored.
The nut width is 43 mm, the neck is thin shaped and the pickups are equipped with the original engraved numbered.
There are weather checks throughout due to age, several dents on the body top, numerous scratches and tiny dents on the body back and sides, several tiny dents on the back of the neck and dents and scuffs on the head.
The frets are slightly dented mainly in the low position area, with about 50-60% remaining overall, and there are no problems with the neck and truss rod.
