1970 Gibson SG Custom Walnut, Excellent, Hard, $2,995.00

While it's not easy to accurately date early 1970s Gibsons, this one is at the very low end of the serial number range for 1970-72 so we'll say 1970, though in reality this is not critical. What does matter is that the guitar is entirely original, including the Bigsby (other than its arm, which had got losted years ago and which we replaced). Hot hot pickups, tuners, all the hardware, and especially those "Fretless Wonder" frets that Gibson used in the 1960s but dropped shortly thereafter. It's at a great price too; we often see people asking upwards of $3500 for ones from the later 70s, not nearly as cool, and this one has no breaks anywhere, quite rare for any SG. $2995 w/hsc
