Description

Super rare custom color Ember Red 1965 Gibson SG Junior in all original beautiful condition with no modifications or repairs. No it's not Cardinal Red, it's factory Ember Red slightly darker more lipstick like with a dash of purple, very pretty color, very rare. The photos are slightly lighter than actual color, it's identical in patina to the Gibson Polaris White and Cardinal Red finishes more commonly seen only "Ember Red" and exactly as it appears on the mid sixties Gibson custom color chart. Pot date code of 1376529 indicates the 29th week of 1965. Fingerboard width is 1 9/16" being a later 1965 instrument, straight neck with a working truss rod, large but comfortable feel. Super clean all original condition 8.5, some light wear present, modest small dings and scratches, sporadic typically deep weather checking. Never abused well taken care of instrument with a straight neck and working truss rod. Tip of original pick guard has broken off but still intact and included. Factory large Gibson frets display almost no wear, no divots, plenty of life left. Comes with newer faultless plush lined Gibson case looks like early 1970's also in very nice condition. Great investment for only $3799. Thanks VGA
