1946 Gibson Southern Jumbo "Sunburst"

This is a beautiful early example of one of Gibson's most coveted flat tops. The Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides give it the signature woody tone and focused midrange punch. The mahogany neck sports a fat C-shape profile that feels great in the hand, and the action is smooth all the way up the fingerboard. Some useful changes include replaced tuning keys, and the addition of an LR Baggs mic/preamp system, but the guitar is free from any cracks or repairs. This is a gorgeous vintage Gibson acoustic worthy of any player!
