A stunning 18-inch body archtop guitar from the summer of 1950, in exceptional condition.
Very rare model, as it is one of the only seven natural finish Super 400s to leave the production line that year.
Carved spruce top with parallel bracing, sides and back are made from a beautiful bit of birdseye maple.
Splendid aging on this instrument’s varnish, including the natural wear on its maple neck.
This acoustic version of the Super 400 archtop has a modern floating pickup installed mounted on a replacement pickguard.
The original pickguard is included in the guitar’s period accurate Lifton case.
