Gibson USA 1997 ES-135
The "ES-135" features a thin 16-inch single cutaway body with semi-acoustic construction.
This is a reissue of a model that was produced for only two years between 1956 and 1958, and is now out of production.
It has a non-bound rosewood fingerboard, dot position markers, a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, and a trapeze tailpiece. The grip of the 3P maple neck is slightly thinner and has a clean shape.
The pickups are equipped with two stacked construction P-100 pickups.
Front tone pot and nut have been replaced.
There is paint damage and a dent on the back of the neck (around the 12th fret), a relatively large dent on the side of the body (near the elbow) and by the jack, paint damage on the binding at the end, some tiny dents and scratches throughout the body, and paint damage on the head.
The frets have some dents mainly in the low position area of the plain strings, with about 70~80% remaining.
The neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
