Gitane DG-300 Natural

Summary: By combining the ideas from the world renowned multi-instrumentalist and guitar virtuoso, John Jorgenson with Sagas knowledgeable product development team, Saga has created the Grandest Gitane guitar to date in the Gitane DG-300, Modèle John Jorgenson! Certainly a striking appearance at first glance, though its visual appearance is just one aspect that makes this guitar so special. This particular guitar is in exceptional condition, looks like it’s been hardly played and even comes with original hand tags and nice hardshell case!

Body: It has hand-selected solid Sitka spruce for the top, and book-matched, eye-catching Santos rosewood back and sides, very cool looking oval soundhole, cutaway, elegant 7 ply binding (tortoise/spruce/ebony) and a high gloss finish.

Neck: A nice chunky U profile and a custom designed walnut neck with ebony fingerboard with 26 frets, shaped to John's specific dimensions in traditional Selmer style. Nut width is 1 ¾” and the Scale length is 26 5/8”

Hardware: It has a custom-made, moveable center-dyed tone-wood bridge with special compensation, nice gold tailpiece with tortoise block, very high quality gold tuners with ivoroid buttons and bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in like new condition with no dings, scratches or blemishes to mention. It is in fabulous shape and does not look like it was ever played.

Playability: This guitar plays wonderfully for “Manouche” style playing. Single note lines ring loud and articulate while chords are punchy and cutting.
