2000 G&L M-2000
Description
Summary: The M-2000 bass from G&L has Leo Fender’s MFD humbuckers. The studio quality 18v preamp system was specially designed for these pickups. For slapping, rolling back some highs and dialing up some lows, coupled with a mid-range boost, magnifies the intensity that Leo’s humbuckers are famous for. The maple neck is fast and smooth and has vintage appointments such as the open gear tuning keys.
Body: Alder with a gloss Sunburst style finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 34” scale length, 1 5/8” nut width, 9.5” radius, medium “C” shape, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two MFD humbuckers, Leo Fender-designed G&L Saddle Lock with chrome-plated brass saddles, G&L M-spec 18v preamp, volume, pan, 3-band boost/cut EQ, open gear tuning keys.
Cosmetics: This bass shows almost no signs of use. The electronics covers have light surface scratches. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets are in great shape.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
