This is the first Guild Brian May I've ever laid my hands on in my 27 years in the business, and I can see why people seem to keep a grip on them. That, and there were apparently only 1000 made.

Seemingly an early serial number with an ME prefix that means it was intended for export.

The switching gives you incredible flexibility. There are three on/off switches, one for each pickup. The other three are phase switches that completely change what you get when two or more pickups are ON.

Construction of the guitar is extremely well done. The action is fantastic. Fret work is really nice. The instrument hangs perfectly on a strap. It's a gigging machine!

The guitar is all original save the upgraded tremolo arm, which was made to more authentically replicate Brian May's own.

The only real "flaw" is a small fissure in the rosewood at the very highest part of the fretboard. This area is stable and not in need of repair. There are of course typical signs of play and handling, but none of abuse.

The original case is included, as is some of the original paperwork that came with the guitar. We'll add some pics of that stuff soon as it isn't well detailed here.
