Body: Jumbo body shape; 17.25” lower bout. Solid AAA Sitka spruce top. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides. Scalloped Red spruce bracing. Sunburst nitrocellulose finish. Multi-ply binding on top and back. Abalone/white/black sound hole rosette.
Neck: 3-Piece Mahogany/Walnut/Mahogany. C-profile. 25.625″ scale. 1 13/16″ nut. 12” radius. Dual action truss rod. Bound ebony fretboard with inlaid purfling and Abalone block fret markers. Bound headstock with “Chesterfield” style inlay.
Pickups/Hardware: Internally-mounted pickup. Rosewood bridge. Bone nut and saddle. Gold-plated Grover tuners. Tortoise-shell pickguard.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great condition. The finish has very little playwear apart from an area on the back near the strap-button where there are a few very small scratches.
Playability: Like the best Guild 12-strings, this guitar is impressively easy to play, with low action that is seldom seen on 12-strings. The neck is wide, which keeps string-spacing from being cramped, but is thin enough to comfortably wrap your fretting hand around. Truly an exceptional instrument in both build quality and sound.
Mods/Repairs: The bridge on this instrument has been professionally re-glued by our in-house technician.
