1964 Guild S-200 Thunderbird "Sunburst"

One of the most unique and distinctive guitar designs, the Guild Thunderbird has a close association with the legendary Muddy Waters, as he appears with one on the back of his landmark record Electric Mud. This example is one of the best we've seen; with a perfect larger neck profile, remarkably easy to use tremolo system, and a huge array of great tones available with the pair of original Guild HB-1 humbucking pickups. Perhaps the most unusual feature of these guitars is the magnetic kickstand on the back of the instrument designed to eliminate the need for a guitar stand. Despite it's unconventional design, this is a truly incredible playing and sounding guitar, perfect for the psychedelic and blues tones heard on the late 60's Muddy Waters releases.
