Description

Summary: The S-90 was Guild’s alternative to the Gibson SG. This instrument looks, plays & sounds amazing and it comes with the original Guild hardshell case.

Body: Solid-body mahogany.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard & dot inlays.
This guitar has 22 frets & the frets are in good shape with lots of
life left in them. The nut width is 1 5/8” and the scale length is 24.75”.

Pickups/Hardware: This guitar has 2 vintage Guild humbucker pickups with one volume knob, one tone knob & a three-way selector switch. This instrument has chrome hardware and features open-back guild tuners and a roller adjustable
bridge.

Cosmetics: This instrument does have some light wear and tear consistent with a guitar from the 1970’s that has been played &
well-loved. There is one big ding near the input jack and some visible wear around the edges of the instrument. The back shows lots of buckle rash and some minor scratches & dings. There are no cracks or structural issues of any kind.  Overall not bad for a played guitar
from 1973.

Playability: This guitar is very easy to play – the neck is straight & the action is low. This guitar plays with no buzzing or dead spots & the tone is super.
