Gibson USA 1999 Firebird V
This “Firebird V” model features two mini-humbuckers, through-neck construction, banjo tuners, and a stop tailpiece.
Designed by the automotive designer Ray Dietrich, it was Gibson's first model with a through-neck construction. The 9-ply mahogany and walnut neck features mahogany wings that have been glued to it.
It shows signs of age, including weather checks, a tiny dent by the bridge pickup, a few scuffs on the top, a shallow and narrow buckle mark on the body back, and some pockmarks and scuffs.
There is almost no fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
