No Sales Tax for Gbase buyers on this. This is a vintage New York made 1954 Guild X-350 I purchased years ago as a project. I’m not going to get to this, or many of my other projects, so I’m selling it. Includes the original 3 pickup switch configuration and plastic plate, and the original pots and output jack, and the original Gibson style Lifton case. Back and sides have some nice figuring, and neck has a nice profile and is nicely worn, with a highly figured Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. This needs re-binding and some other work done to it. The Guild X-350 competed with Gibson models of the day, and these are cool guitars worthy of restoration and great project guitars and great for honing your rebuilding skills on.

Truss rod adjusts. I put a straight edge on the fretboard, and it falls slightly below the top of the original bridge when that was on it. Has one small crunch on the upper bass bout side, and the lamination on the bass side at the tail needs regluing. Frets are worn as you can see in pics. Original Lifton case with remnants of original label is in solid by rough condition. Strap between top and bottom of case is missing, and the top part of one latch is missing. I maxed out on 25 pics..if you want more pics, shoot me a message. The switch is a little rough from age but should be functional. My plan was to replace it with a more modern switching system, but these have a unique charm to them. Some of the original binding is left, but it has shrunken. The binding channels are clean, which will make rebinding this easier. Axiom at Axinc.net still sells the real correct vintage style celluloid nitrate binding that was used in the 1950’s if you are interested in getting correct binding material. Heel cap is missing as is one of the fretboard inlays. Parts included with the guitar body and neck are the switching system, the switching system plate, the pots, and the wiring from the pots to the wiring system or the output jack, and the original case. I have some of the parts that will be available after the body and case sell.
