~1970 Gurian JM

The JM model of Gurian, possibly their most popular model and the most difficult to find in this top condition. The 1970s saw Michael Gurian's move from New York City to a more spacious, better-equipped shop in New Hampshire and the instruments from this era are highly prized. Beautifully kept since it was made in the late 1970s it is crack-free, wear-free, and nonsense-free in all respects. The Gurian Jumbo-size guitars have all the volume you could ever want, with the tonal qualities of this one’s mahogany back and sides having terrific clarity. All thoroughly gone over and set up by us here in our own shop; frets, nut, saddle, and everything else giving it an action perfect for all styles of playing. Best-quality German-made Schaller tuning machines too, of course.
