1983 Höfner 500/1 LH "Sunburst"

The Höfner 500/1 was first chosen by the Beatle's Paul McCartney simply for its symmetrical "violin" shape. Being left-handed, he wanted something that wouldn't look "upside-down" on stage. However, the Höfner quickly became the signature sound of the leaders of the British Invasion. This particular model is nearly identical to his. Complete with two classic, thumpy-sounding Höfner "staple" pickups, and the original white pearloid pickguard, this is a prime example of vintage German-made Höfner. 100% original and includes the original harshell case and a vintage, black and gold strap!
